From the beginning, we’ve been proud members of 1% for the Planet – A global network of businesses, nonprofits and individuals working together for a healthy planet.
Every year we donate a minimum of 1% of our revenue to environmental organizations across the world. The list of organizations we support continues to grow, and so far we’re honored to have contributed to –
- Amazon Aid Foundation
- Amazon Watch
- Land Core
- Malibu Foundation for Environmental Education (KIDS OCEAN DAY)
- Plastic Pollution Coalition
- Rocky Mountain Wild
- Sustainable Works
- Zero Waste Comics
- 1% for the Planet
In launching Shuki on Earth Day 2018, we set out on a mission to create a company in the green economy that contributes to a larger coalition of environmental champions. We are convinced that in order to succeed as a company, and in ending plastic pollution, we must join together.
We are but one thread amidst a tapestry of activists, innovators, and entrepreneurs who believe that we can and must shift away from a single use economy and towards a reusable and renewable one.
Everyday communities are negatively affected by petrochemical factories producing plastics. From Flint to Standing Rock, from the BP Oil Spill to New Orleans’ “Cancer Alley. This pollution poisons the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat.
With stakes this high, we take our commitment very seriously. We believe that using reusable products not only helps eliminate plastic pollution, but also empowers people to take a big step in elevating our cultural consciousness away from plastic.
Thank you for being a part of our extended family, we look forward to continuing the conversation.
